Our client is a small business with a unique market proposition. Their products and services have so far been so well-received from a loyal customer base, that their business is growing at roughly double (revenue and people) year on year.

Due to this remarkable growth and amazing tech story, they are looking to add software engineering resource to their team to help build and augment the tech solutions which underpin their business offerings. They are currently looking to identify and onboard the following:

*Software Engineer – LAMP stack*

• LAMP technologist – highly adept across Linux, MySQL, PHP and Bootstrap technologies
• Hands on experience of developing robust and scalable software solutions and with a desire to pick up new tech and a willingness to learn
• Familiar with Javascript, JIRA and agile methodologies
• Experience of working in geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups with strong team play and collaborative skills
• Reporting to a tech leader (architect) – but having dealings with BAs, a Project Manager and CTO

Aside from the above skills and competencies, a passion for best-practice is essential as is an attitude which mirrors that of the existing team members and management.

The client will provide training, mentoring and a clear career path – but this should be matched by candidates who have a willingness to learn and pick up new skills (both tech and business) on an almost daily basis.
