Hamilton Forth has signed up to the Tech Talent Charter (TTC), the non-profit organisation leading a movement to address inequality in the UK tech sector and drive inclusion and diversity in a practical and uniquely measurable way.
The TTC’s ultimate goal is that the UK tech sector becomes truly inclusive and a reflection of the society which it represents. The organisation works at scale, addressing the tech ecosystem as a whole to drive change, focusing on the ‘how’, not just the ‘why’ of inclusion, bringing communities together and support the underrepresented.
As a TTC signatory, Hamilton Forth will collaborate with the TTC and other signatory organisations to share feedback on improving inclusion and diversity in tech, develop a plan to work with our clients and underrepresented groups to improve inclusion and diversity, and support them to adopt inclusive recruitment processes and practices. We will also contribute anonymised and aggregated employment diversity data for publication in the TTC’s annual Diversity in Tech report.
Ali Shaw, managing director at Hamilton Forth, commented; “At Hamilton Forth we are committed to improving diversity and inclusion within the technology sector. We look forward to working with the TTC and our fellow signatories to share best practice, information and data to advance our common goals.”

With the growth of the IoT and machine learning, and policies such as GDPR demanding accountability, the amount of data and data sources collected by organisations has grown exponentially. Consultant, Rachel Sim discusses how this data can be invaluable when it comes to decision making, and why businesses should consider developing a data strategy.
